2004 - 2017

Today makes one week that my sweet ole girl, Raleigh has been gone. I've not heard her snoring beside my bed, heard toes click-clicking on the floor, scratch at the bathroom door wanting to come get in front of the heater, hear her bark at 5 pm sharp wanting to be fed, the bell ring at the back door to be let out or whine as we got closer to deer camp. She loved us unconditionally. We made a difficult decision and I have really, really struggled the last couple of days if it was the right decision. Deep in my heart, I know that it was but I selfishly want her back.
